I am looking for screenshots of various warrior armors with Destroyer Gauntlets

I have seen a screenshot of FoW + Destroyer, but i do not plan on getting FoW any time soon.

This is a list of the armors i am most interested in seeing:

Elite Charr Hide
Primeval, Elite Glads
Ancient
Elite Platemail
Norn

You only really need the Chest piece, because it has the most impact on the look of warrior armors in conjunction with Destroyer Gauntlets, but full armor sets are fine.

So there are no warriors with these armor sets + destroyer gauntlets? i might have to sit around CTC and keep my eyes open for someone with them -.-

Ive also made a request for screens before you made this thread. nada...

I have seen some warrior w/ destroyer gauntlets but none with mine/yours armor requests.

I think most warriors dont even want to touch it cuz of how it doesnt look particularly good with the current chest pieces of the armor sets.

BUT, Im very close to getting the gaunts and I do have armors ill be taking screens of. I should have it by today. /crossfingers. lol

I am up to 102 cores, so i am not exactly close, but i am still wondering if i should keep saving them up to get the gloves. I own Elite Glads, Elite Platemail and Primeval, but i wanted to see Charr Hide and Ancient because hte chest pieces do not actually combine with the gloves like most others.

to be honest mate, they dont go with any warrior armour properly, you always have that top piece of skin where the arms and chest meet. Looks out of place. Sell the cores unless you have a caster, they look good on casters.

This one seems to be working the best obviously, it's just that you need a pretty good combo on other parts just to look decent.

**I did see a fem war w/ ancient set in CTC. looked ok, so Im going for that one next. Ill post when I get it.

To no avail, they are all "cut-offs", Why Anet, Why....lol.

To me, the destroyer gaunts are really just more of a novelty piece right now, but im testing different combos w/ it atm for actual use, it's going pretty good.

that is why i want to see Charr Hide and Ancient, since the chest piece and arms do not connect overall.

**looking at wiki's Elite Charr chest, the left side looks like there's a small cut-off. but the right side is basically the same w/ ancient's. My guess is, the Charr one looks similar to what it would look like for Gladiator's.

nice..so investing into Ancients wouldn't be bad...it would make me look like a badass gladiator with my Destroyer Maul...strange how the Dest shield doesnt connect in any way to your arm :P

ye. their gauntlet designs seems to be either "floating" (destroyer+ancient floats too) or "digging"(-in) (primeval+others) into the shields.

they couldnt just make them be at the right position where they should be. lol

This is with the rest of the armor. except the helm.

I would actually like to see it with the helm. If you actually get the full Ancient w/ helm Chronos, if you wouldnt mind posting after you get your gaunts. thx.

With the skin piece at the top of the gloves I cant help but think of Popeye with his massive forearms. =P Anet had a great idea with the gloves but dropped the ball bringing it to light.
